Here you will find an overview of emerging modes in which a jam session in JazzWeCan can be played. You will find these modes as an appendix to the ServerName JazzWeCan (letters with circles around them) in the Jamulus Client App Connection Setup or in the Web App Jamulus Explorer!
The hosting Server (homejazz.de) or the Jamulus service are in maintenance. You should expect disturbances and failure. Come back some other time …
That is the normal mode. It is open and not moderated.
Similar to arranged jam sessions in a jazz club.
A full or partial jazz rhythm section was arranged in advance. It remains constant in this set. This CLUB Mode is moderated. The moderator can (in doubt) enforces band constellation, tunes, communication … If the typical jazz rhythm section (dr, b, guit|pn) is not complet and you play the missing instrument you are invited to join and fill up. If you play a soloing instrument, you are also invited to join.
A fixed group of musicians will play together in this mode for some time! These players are considered JazzWeCan members and are known to the moderator (and to each other). No other musician is allowed to play.
We are currently offering a JazzWeCan live-stream {Testing Phase} so that you can see who is playing and listen without joining. Listeners do not help in building up a temporary band. Instrument players (especially dr, b) will be preferred over them.
